This casebook has been prepared for University students for the LL.B degree. It is based on the Land Law I (LW 202) syllabus and course outline of the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law. It is intended that the corresponding course content should be completed in the first semester of the second year. The period covered is 1901 to 2010. At the end of each judgment there are questions in order to guide the law student. The casebook can be used by lecturers who employ the lecture method of delivery. Similarly, it can easily be employed by lecturers who prefer the Socratic method.
