Lumumba brings forth to public eye the heroic efforts of some actors, who should be proud of their patriotism, but this is unavoidable contrasted with the shameful opportunism of other players, who were either blinded by personal narrow ambitions, or who perhaps with the best intentions at heart, did not foresee the damaging historical effects of their passivity, cowardice or lack of patriotism during the constitution- making exercise. I commend Prof. Lumumba for his daring clarity and thorough historicity in this account.
